I've always enjoyed the people at Locus over the years (known many from SF conventions and LASFS (Los Angeles SF Society--one of the oldest SF groups here in this neck of the woods). It's a good sign that you are getting noted there. Locus covers the world--well, mostly the U.S., Canada and Britain, but the fact that you're getting noted is fantastic! This is coming from an SF fan going back to the Heinlein/Asimov era of the '60's.<BR/><BR/>Came across your blog by accident as I was searching for Bollywood/Indian SF films. Outside of "Mr. India," "Koi Mil Gaya" and "Rudraksh," I'm a little lost in my search, as I've not had much luck with finding any others.<BR/><BR/>I find it a little surprising considering the depth of SF writers in the region. Been looking at the Indian market to understand why I'm not more familiar with SF from India. The International fantasy scene did not exactly ... but whatever.<BR/>Who did your marketing is what many readers would like to know? How come a whole lot of pretentious crap gets reviewed everywhere and something fresh and fun gets lost in the noise. The problem also is that so many of your references are so topical, Bridget Jones e.g. and the Western trend is to madly dash on to the next big thing and to label"dated" anything not of the moment, witness the Golden Gate now being dismissed as a "dated tribute to yuppy culture"...Harder to relaunch.
