Well

Have finally stopped being ill. Which is a good thing. For me, at least.
Also got some really good news yesterday - the Big To now has a girlfriend. Got her in style too - flew down to Cal, fed her dinner at the Grand, spouted at her until she simpered and blushed. Stoob and I are Morris-dancing around the flat and singing ballads about hares and tortoises.
Gah. Three-day bed-stays always mean lots of work piling up. Somewhere before all of this, also managed to read Grant Morrison's Animal Man, which oscillates between banal and bloody brilliant, Carey's Lucifer (could have been another Sandman, but choked on its own tail), a few more Dreaming books, some other stuff I cant remember.
Anyway, in the middle of completely random surfing, discovered this and this and this. Enjoy.

Read Morrison's Invisibles a few months ago. Didn't get about 30% of it which was more than enough to confuse the shit out of me. Stopped reading lucifer around issue 50. Definitely could've been great.

Animal Man unfortunately took some time to get into its stride, mainly because the initial remit was to play it straight, but after a point the editors realised that Morrison should be let on his own. Even the first issue is full of hilarious in-jokes. Like Anang though, I also found Invisibles bloody confusing - need to read up on my Sade before I read it.
